Jenifer Beckman, M.S., MFT, LPC (Northwest Area office)

            Jenifer is trained and willing to work with clients of all ages.  She has experience with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families.  She is particularly interested in issues surrounding teens and their families.  Jenifer enjoys working with couples through marriage counseling.

 

Larry Brown, Ph.D.   (Kirby office)

            Dr. Brown specializes in individual and marital therapy.  He works with adults only.  He is skilled in dealing with delicate and critical life issues.

 

Susan Denton, MAMFT, LPC  (Southeast and Clear Lake offices)

            Susan’s practice involves individual, marital, and family therapy.  She enjoys working with adoptive and blended families and specializes in helping families with children and adolescents struggling with emotional and behavioral issues.  Areas of interest include marital communication and conflict resolution, women’s issues, grief and loss, and helping individuals develop healthy relationships.

 

Carolyn Erlinger, M.Ed., LPC  (West Houston office)

            Carolyn works with individuals, couples, and families.  Areas of interest include the unique issues of blended families, grief and loss issues, depression, anxiety, trauma resolution, women’s issues, and relational healing.

 

Kathryn S. Galvin, Ph.D.  (Northwest Area and Wilcrest offices)

            Dr. Galvin’s psychology practice includes individual, marital, and family therapy.   She works with clients of all ages.  Her special areas of focus are relationship skills, intimacy, life transitions, and recovery, and she enjoys the integration of spiritual formation with these processes.  Dr. Galvin is also the Executive Director for the Center for Counseling.

  

Bart Gregersen, M.S., LPC  (Garden Oaks/Heights office)

            Bart is willing to work with the needs of clients of all ages.  He enjoys working with individuals, couples and families.  Bart is a professional high school college guidance counselor and is skilled in the special needs of adolescents and their families.  Additionally, Bart has a passion for helping students with their college search process.

 

LeAnn Hanks, MAMFC, MACE, LPC  (Park Place, Southeast and Northwest Area offices)

            LeAnn works with individuals, couples, children/adolescents, and families.  Her areas of expertise include pre-marital and marital counseling as well as helping those who have experienced trauma or abuse.  LeAnn is skilled in helping others face and work through difficult issues.

 

Jay Kelley, M.A., M.Div., LCDC, LPC  (Cy-Fair office)

            Jay’s practice includes individual, marital, and family therapy.   He works with clients of all ages. Jay has considerable experience working with chemical dependency issues. 

 

B.T. Lewis, MAMFC, LPC  (Park Place office)

            B.T. works with adults, families, and adolescents.  She is willing to see children on a case-by-case basis.  Her specialty is working with adolescents with eating disorders. 

 

Molly Little, M.A., LPC, LMFT  (Highway 59 North and Kingwood offices)

            Molly works with individuals, couples, and families.  She also sees adolescents and children if they are a part of family therapy.  She specializes in conflict resolution, communication, marital therapy, and women’s issues.

 

Mary Lou Shackleton, M.A., LPC, LMFT  (Clear Lake and Southeast offices)

            Mary Lou’s practice includes individual, marital, and family therapy.  She works with adults, adolescents, and children.  Mary Lou also specializes in personality disorders and women’s issues and is particularly skilled in the area of grief counseling.

 

Shirley M. Wheeler, LCSW, BCD  (San Felipe office)

            Shirley’s practice style integrates her experiences in life’s journey plus lessons learned from others in 23 years as a psychotherapist.  She sees young children and adults, offering individual, marital, family and group therapy.  Using an eclectic approach, she assists in restoring relationships, healing from loss, women’s issues, anxiety, and depression.

 

Elizabeth (Betty) York, M.Ed., LMFT, LPC  (West Houston office)

            Betty enjoys individual, marriage, and family counseling with clients of all ages.  Certified by TEA as a School Counselor and Special Education Counselor, Betty is trained to work with children in Grades K-12, including those with special needs.  Areas of interest include premarital counseling; pain, illness, and disability management; crisis counseling; adoption; blended families; depression; anxiety; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; abuse recovery; pastoral and counselor care; grief and loss; aging.
