Tom Billings is experienced in a variety of areas related to church life and personal development. Holding a D.Min. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he has served as a church pastor prior to coming to serve at UBA and has experience as a professional therapist as well as significant experience in leading churches through transitional change and conflicted situations. Dr. Billings is a skilled personal negotiator and a certified facilitator of several Covey Leadership programs, including The Four Roles of Leadership and The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Currently, he is providing change leadership training & experiences for other Directors of Missions throughout the US. As the Executive Director of UBA, he provides leadership in areas of vision achievement and alignment. Tom is a member of Woodridge Baptist Church of Kingwood (pastor, Greg Wallace) and has served UBA since 1988 in roles as a therapist, an Associate Director, and the Interim Director, prior to beginning his current position as the Executive Director in 1999.
