Pastor Ken Durham and members of his Motorcycle Ministry took their faith on the road during a recent Saturday in June. Their Saturday bike ride took them to Cenikor's Deer Park Facility, where this mission-minded group from First Baptist Church - North Channel visited some of the residents receiving treatment at the facility.

Through information published on the UBA website, Pastor Durham became aware of the need for volunteers and responded with his unique ministry.  That Saturday, FBC North Channel's Motorcycle Ministry interacted with approximately 50 of Cenikor Deer Park's residents.  Under Pastor Durham's leadership, FBC North Channel visited the facility, provided encouragement to the residents - some of which were brand new to Cenikor's treatment program - and hosted a picnic of watermelon and soft drinks on Cenikor's grounds.

The residents and staff of Cenikor were touched by the loving spirit shown to people who have made serious mistakes but who are wanting to live life to the fullest through faith.  As a result of that Saturday's time together, FBCNC's Motorcycle Ministry has challenged the Cenikor softball team to a dual on the field later in the summer.  FBC North Channel and Pastor Durham are putting their faith into action and Cenikor appreciates the efforts!
