Pastor, It's Okay to be Afraid
Well, here we are. We're living in a world we never imagined or desired. As much as we may try to ignore it, the coronavirus (COVID-19) is a reality, and it’s global. Regardless of how we are wired or trained to approach challenges, every one of us is prone to fear on some level. We all hold within us the nature of humanity that values something and fears losing it. As much as we may try to suppress or deny it, leaders experience fear as well, and that’s okay!

Mi Queso Y El Covid-19
Estoy seguro de que algunos todavía recuerdan el pequeño libro acerca del cambio, titulado ¿Quién movió mi queso? Pues, a mí me parece que lo del COVID-19 le ha movido el queso a todo el mundo. Como el queso representa cualquier cosa de la cual dependemos, pienso que el cristianismo en América se ha enfocado tanto en centrar sus actividades en el templo que hemos creado dependencia del edificio.

The Christian's Hope in a Pandemic
When I saw this photo from 1955 of children lining up for the new polio vaccine at Hohl Elementary in Houston, it took me back. I was in a line just like that in 1955 at my Houston elementary school. This photo reminded me of how close I came to a threatening epidemic. Here we are again, and I am constantly being reminded to be grateful.
