“How do you hold on to hope when the world feels so heavy?”
Not long ago, someone asked me:
“Pastor, how do you continue holding on to hope when the world feels so heavy?”
Perhaps you have asked yourself that same question.
Every day, we are surrounded by bad news, uncertainty, brokenness, and discouragement. Even strong Christians sometimes struggle with fear, anxiety, doubt, or simply weariness.
At UBA, we wish to walk alongside you.
Our intention is to encourage you in some of the most common struggles of life and ministry.
But one of the greatest truths I have discovered in my Christian life is this: God’s Word has a special way of meeting us exactly where we are.
• Sometimes through a Bible verse.
• Sometimes through a prayer.
• And sometimes through a simple reminder that God has not forgotten us.
For this reason, at UBA, we are praying by name for pastors, leaders, and churches and sending Scripture and words of encouragement to strengthen them in their calling and ministry.
We want to remind you that you are not alone. At UBA, we desire to walk alongside you.
Our intention is to encourage you through some of the most common struggles in life and ministry.
As the person responsible for pastoral care, everything I do comes from my heart as a pastor and fellow servant in Christ, just as I would encourage a friend sitting across from me after a church service or during a difficult season of life.
My prayer is that, as we walk together, the Lord would strengthen your faith, encourage your heart, and remind you of the unshakable hope we have in Jesus Christ.
If you do not have a safe place where you can speak openly without feeling judged, where you do not have to carefully guard every word out of fear that your trust may be broken. Maybe you feel, as one dear friend once told me, “I just need to take off the pastor’s suit.”
I would like to invite you to schedule a meeting with me so we can talk and pray together.
